The intensity of emergencies in 2017 – from the terrorist attacks in Manchester and London to Grenfell – led to the creation of the National Emergencies Trust, to collaborate with charities and other bodies to raise and distribute money and support victims at the time of a domestic disaster.

 

The NET is currently working tirelessly to disburse donations to ease pressure on essential front-line services due to the impact of the COVID 19 pandemic. We are now looking to extend our Co-Optees to work alongside trustees and senior staff on the Committee.

Co-optee to NET’s Board and Allocations Committee

As a co-opted member of a National Emergencies Trust (NET) governance structures, (Board of Trustees, Allocations Committee, Equity Scrutiny Group) the incumbent will be required to help the Trust make well informed decisions related to the area of business they have been asked to support.

 

NET seeks to achieve a representative balance on its governance, advisory and scrutiny bodies and will give due consideration to applicants with lived experience of the communities NET seeks to serve.
