A message from John Herriman, CEO, National Emergencies Trust:
The widespread flooding across the UK is causing significant hardship to many people and businesses. The National Emergencies Trust, in partnership with the Voluntary and Community Sector Emergency Partnership, continues to monitor the situation closely. There are currently three live regional appeals launched by Community Foundations covering South Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. These are supporting communities and businesses in the areas affected and we encourage people to donate to them, should they wish to help.
While the NET is not currently launching an appeal, we’ll keep monitoring the situation to assess whether the current levels of support are addressing the needs of those impacted. We are in constant communication with partners, including Community Foundations, to provide advice and support.
How you can help.
At times like these, we know how generous people can be. There are currently three regional appeals that you can make a donation to if you would like to help. These are listed below:

The voluntary and community sector, in partnership with many other organisations, are working incredibly hard and doing some amazing work to help those affected by the floods. Any donation you make will further increase the help that can be given and will be gratefully received by the Community Foundations.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
