Two years ago today we launched the Coronavirus Appeal to support those whose lives would be affected by the pandemic, in ways we could only imagine.

Thanks to your incredible generosity, the Appeal has raised nearly £100million and enabled more than 14,000 incredible projects all over the UK to support those in great need.

With your help charities have made a world of difference all over the UK:

  • They’ve made thousands of doorstep deliveries to people during lockdowns, making sure everyone had access to food, medicines and essentials
  • They’ve launched podcasts, webchats and befriending lines so people can feel cared for and connected from a safe social distance
  • They’ve answered hundreds of thousands of calls and messages from those needing extra support through incredibly difficult times

Your kindness has made a real difference to people’s lives when it mattered most.

Thank you!

If you’re a small charity or group keen to make a difference in your community, you can still apply for Coronavirus Appeal funding from the Local Action Fund with Crowdfunder UK.
