The National Emergencies Trust is hosting a free virtual event, Learning Together: From pandemic to future preparedness in partnership with Nottingham Trent University at 10am on Thursday 29th September.

After the incredible, collaborative effort that made the Coronavirus Appeal possible, this event is a chance to come together again across the charity sector, and beyond, to share what we learned through the Covid-19 response and shape blueprints for future disasters.

  • Researchers from Nottingham Trent University, including Dr Rowena Hill, will open the session with first-look independent learnings from the £100m Coronavirus Appeal
  • Appeal stakeholders and experienced external voices will then come together to share their own perspectives - and invite your ideas - during four interactive panels
  • Contributors include representatives from the National Preparedness Commission, New Philanthropy Capital, the University of Sussex, survivor community and more

Join us to share your point of view on pressing issues such as response versus recovery, data during disasters; and the value of trust and relationships.

Spaces are limited, so register on Eventbrite (opens in a new tab) to secure yours today.
