Remembering those affected by the Westminster Bridge attack

News and blogs

National Emergencies Trust remembers those affected by the Westminster Bridge Terror Attack that happened five years ago.

Flowers laid opposite the Houses of Parliament, with Big Ben, a red bus and people walking past.

Five years ago today five people tragically lost their lives, and many others were injured, during a terror attack on Westminster Bridge.

Today the National Emergencies Trust is remembering them and the countless others, in the UK and far beyond, whose lives were affected by the events that day.

We also want to express our sincere appreciation for the survivors, like Travis Frain, who volunteer their valuable time and lived experience to our Survivors’ Forum.

Their input and guidance ensure that the National Emergencies Trust can offer the best support possible to those affected by terrorism, and other domestic disasters, in the future.

Read Travis’ personal account of the Westminster Bridge attack and why he has chosen to be a member of the Survivors’ Forum.
