News and blogs

Remembering all those affected by the London July 7 bombings on the seventeenth anniversary.

The 7 July Memorial in Hyde Park, London: rows of tall steel pillars.

Seventeen years ago today 52 people lost their lives in the most tragic of circumstances when four bombs were detonated across the London Underground network and on a London bus on 7 July 2005.

700 people were injured and many thousands of family members, friends, colleagues and loved ones were profoundly impacted by the events of that day.

Today our thoughts are with everyone across London, the UK and the world who has been affected by the London July 7 bombings.

If you would like to reflect and remember, the annual commemoration event will take place this morning at the Hyde Park Memorial from 11.50am.
