News and blogs

In the wake of Storm Babet, the National Emergencies Trust is supporting the work of its partners including Community Foundations, who are raising funds for those affected in their communities.

As the impact of Storm Babet will be felt by some communities across the UK, for months, if not years to come, the National Emergencies Trust team are closely monitoring the situation, which at present, does not meet our four appeal activation criteria, needed to launch our own emergency appeal.

South Yorkshire's Community Foundation has launched an emergency fundraising appeal in response to the widespread flooding that has affected much of South Yorkshire. Their appeal will support families and local people who have been displaced from their homes and had their properties damaged by the flood waters.

If you would like to make a donation to help people affected by Storm Babet in South Yorkshire, you can find out more and donate to their emergency appeal online (opens in a new tab) or by scanning the QR code below.
