Remembering those affected by the Westminster Bridge terror attack
News and blogsNational Emergencies Trust remembers all those affected by the Westminster Bridge terror attack, seven years ago today.

Today marks seven years since the terror attack on Westminster Bridge and the Houses of Parliament, in which five people tragically lost their lives and several others were injured. We remember them and the many others who were affected by the events that day.
We would also like to convey our appreciation to survivors like Travis Frain OBE who are committed to turning the act of hate they experienced into hope for others.
Alongside other Group members, Travis selflessly volunteers his time and lived experience to advising and supporting our efforts to improve outcomes for survivors, through our Survivors’ Advisory Forum. Without their valuable input and guidance, we couldn’t fulfil our mission of offering the best possible support to those affected by terrorism, and other disasters.
We couldn’t be more delighted that Travis received his OBE award earlier this week. Read Travis’ story and his motivations for becoming a member of the Trust’s Survivors’ Advisory Forum.
