We’re excited to accept over 100 types of cryptocurrency, introducing a new, innovative way of giving at the Trust.

A growing number of charities are now accepting cryptocurrency donations - in fact there are over 220,000,000 users globally and over $300,000,000 in cryptocurrency donations each year. As the crypto market has grown, so too have cryptocurrency donations.

We believe that accepting cryptocurrency will result in donations we may not otherwise receive, as well as connecting us with new supporters, ultimately enabling us to support more survivors of UK disasters.

How it works

We use the platform The Giving Block (opens in a new tab) to accept cryptocurrency donations. All donations can be made via the widget on this page of our website, or by visiting our page on the Giving Block website.

On this page you will be able to choose which type of cryptocurrency you wish to donate and enter your donation amount. You will be asked to fill out some basic information about yourself and enter an email address where you would like to receive a receipt. Lastly, a wallet address will be generated for your donation which is linked directly to our wallet.

Where your crypto goes

With your support the National Emergencies Trust can be there for survivors and their loved ones in their time of great need.

We are an independent charity that offers people one trusted place to donate, working with other charities and groups to share out funds fast and fairly.

Outside of emergencies your support helps to fund vital survivor-led projects to create change so that no one is left behind.

We listen to and learn from past emergency survivors about the difficulties they’ve faced so that ultimately, those affected in the future receive more equitable and compassionate support.

A quote from a young Manchester Arena attack survivor: 'We never knew how challenging it would be to find help that wasn't more damaging and triggering.'

Check out this page on our website to learn more about gifting crypto to the Trust. We have a FAQ section telling you more about the process, and our friendly team will be happy to help along the way!
